Halifax police make more arrests in the killing of Bradley Wayne Knoll

Investigators have laid charges against a man in connection with the homicide of Bradley Wayne Knoll.

On June 18, at 2:14 a.m. officers responded to a report of fight on the sidewalk outside 88 Portland Street in Dartmouth. Once officers arrived on scene, they located 59-year-old Bradley Knoll unconscious on the sidewalk. He was later pronounced deceased at the scene by EHS.

Yesterday, investigators arrested two suspects in connection with this homicide. A woman was arrested around 4:30 a.m. in Dartmouth and a man was arrested at 1:30 p.m. in Halifax.

Twenty-two-year-old Michael Raymond Rhyno of Dartmouth is facing charges of second degree murder, robbery and possession of a weapon dangerous. He will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court today. Fifty-three-year-old Michelle Florence Rhyno of Dartmouth is facing charges of manslaughter and robbery. She was remanded to the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility overnight and will also appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court today. This was not a random incident as the victim and both accused are known to each other.

Michael Rhyno was also arrested under three outstanding public interest warrants. He is facing charges of fraud under $5,000, breach of probation, theft under $5,000, possession of stolen goods under $5,000, resisting arrest and possession of cocaine in relation to a January 21, 2015 incident.
