Toronto police charge Orrell Martin Higgins with attempted murder

USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…On Friday, June 12, 2015, at approximately 3 a.m., police responded to a shooting in the Jane Street and Wilson Avenue area.

It is alleged that:

– the victim was standing in the parking lot next to his car

– another car pulled up nearby and a man emerged

– the man then opened fire on the victim

– the man returned to the car and fled

– the victim drove himself to hospital with serious, multiple gun shot wounds

As a result of an investigation, a man alleged to be involved in the shooting was identified. On Wednesday, June 17, 2015, Orrell Martin Higgins, aka Orrell Segree, 31, of Toronto, was arrested. He was charged with:

1) Attempt Murder
2) Discharge Firearm Endanger Life
3) Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
4) Possession of a Loaded Restricted Firearm
5) Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is unauthorized

He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Thursday June 18, 2015, at 10 a.m.
