Woodstock – A 30-year-old Central Waterville, N.B. man has been charged in connection with the death of  68-year-old Richard Foster of Bull Lake, who died on August 3, 2015.

Andrew Merlin Schriver appeared in Woodstock Provincial Court on August 4, 2015 and was charged with second degree murder. Police were called to a home in Central Waterville on August 2, where they discovered two men, a 68-year-old man and a 30-year-old man both injured from what appeared to be stab wounds.  Both were taken to hospital. Overnight, Richard Foster died from his injuries.

An autopsy is being conducted to assist in determining the exact cause of death.

Schriver was remanded and is scheduled to appear back in Woodstock Provincial Court on November 19, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. for a preliminary hearing.
