District 3 RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance to help locate a missing woman.
49-year-old Darlene Elaine Powell, of Sussex, was reported missing by a family member on January 6, 2011. She has not been seen since December 23, 2010.
Powell’s family says it is uncommon for her not to be in contact with them.
Powell is described as being 165 cm (5’4") tall, weighs 84 kilograms (185 lbs) and has dyed, shoulder-length, reddish-brown hair. She is deaf in one ear, has a slight speech impediment and is missing one front tooth. Powell’s vehicle is also missing. It is a blue, 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier, with license plate number GFK 820.
