Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public that could help in locating a 48 year-old male who has not been seen since early December 2010. Family members filed a report with police on January 4, 2011.
Forty-eight year-old Orville Sydney LAPLANTE, DOB: 1962-09-21, is described as male, Aboriginal, about 5′ 8" tall, weighing about 160 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes. Investigators have determined that LAPLANTE was last seen on December 6, 2010, in downtown Regina. LAPLANTE does not maintain a residence in Regina, so police investigation to locate him has included checking hospitals, shelters and any agencies that might offer shelter or assistance to a person living a transient lifestyle.
So far, those efforts have not located LAPLANTE.
UPDATE: Orville Sydney LAPLANTE has been located.
