February 11, 2011, Mulgrave, Nova Scotia…At approximately 10:00 pm last evening, members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Port Hawkesbury Detachment received a 911 call of an intoxicated 47 year-old Mulgrave man in a residence with a gun.
A small area was quickly cordoned off and the RCMP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and a Crisis Negotiation Team was brought in to assist. As part of the investigation, RCMP are speaking with the lone male located in the residence.
The incident is still ongoing at this time and additional information will be released once available.
