On March 2, 2011, 59-year-old Jean Fernand Plourde, of Saint-Quentin, N.B., appeared in Campbellton Provincial Court and was sentenced to three years and 10 months in jail.
Plourde pleaded guilty in November 2010 to five offences of a sexual nature against two individuals. The offenses took place between 1973 and 1979.
