Police charge 4 for Cocaine Trafficking, London

On Thursday March 3rd, 2011 the Royal Canadian Mounted Police London Detachment Drug Section with the assistance of London Integrated Proceeds of Crime Unit, London City Police and the OPP dismantled a drug trafficking organization that stretched from Toronto to Windsor, Ontario. During the course of the three month investigation, over 2 kilograms of cocaine was seized, other seizures include: 500 Oxycontin pills, 1000 ecstasy pills, 28 pounds of marihuana, 2 vehicles and approximately $47,000 cash.

Arrested are Souphan Iklakhana (32 years), Neil Stewart (21 years), Bounmy Chansamone (37 years) and Tou Chansamone (36 years) all of London, Ontario.

 Souphin Inlakhana is charged with: o Three counts of trafficking in a controlled substance (oxycodone/cocaine), three counts of conspiracy to traffic cocaine, two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine and marihuana).

Neil Stewart is charged with: o One count of trafficking in a controlled substance (cocaine) and one count of conspiracy to traffic cocaine.

Bounmy Chansamone is charged with: o One count of trafficking in cocaine, four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking for cocaine, ecstasy and marihuana and one count of conspiracy to traffic cocaine.

Tou Chansamone is charged with: o Two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking for cocaine and marihuana.

All accused were held in custody. The next court date is scheduled for March 8, 2011 at the London Provincial Court.
