The Oshawa Power lose a tough game to the Windsor Express 113 – 103 ending their four game winning streak.

The Power found themselves in a 16 – 4 hole early in the first quarter, but an energetic bench unit got them back in the game and they closed out the first quarter only down by four points. (30 – 26)

In front of the loudest crowd at the General Motors Centre this year the Power hung around with the other Ontario team, but a strong fourth quarter gave the victory to the visitors.

Bo Harris led the way for the Power with 27 points and 9 rebounds. Nick Okorie added 18 points and Mark Gomillia netted 16 points in the loss.

The Power will now set their sights on a new winning streak as they travel to Montreal for the first time this year to take on the Montreal Jazz.

Tip-off is set for 7:00 pm.

Thursday January 3rd is Fan Appreciation night in Oshawa, as Durham’s Team will be hosting the London Lightning in the Battle of the 401. Tickets will be FREE thanks to Rogers a proud sponsor of the Oshawa Power and the National Basketball League of Canada.

Vouchers for the January 3, 2013 game will be available in the local Oshawa paper, Rogers Communication stores downtown Oshawa and at the General Motors Centre box office.
