A proud member of the American Hockey League, the Toronto Marlies announced today their bobblehead schedule for the 2009-10 season. The Marlies are introducing a goalie series of bobbleheads featuring Toronto Maple Leafs through the decades, emphasizing the relationship between the two clubs.
The Marlies will hold their first of five bobblehead days of the season this Saturday when they host the Houston Aeros, AHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, in a 4:00 p.m. contest at Ricoh Coliseum. The first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a Johnny Bower bobblehead when they enter through the gates.
The following are a list of future bobblehead giveaway dates:
January 2, 2010 vs. Milwaukee Admirals – Mike Palmateer Bobblehead Night
January 23, 2010 vs. Hamilton Bulldogs – Vesa Toskala Bobblehead Night
February 20, 2010 vs. Manitoba Moose – Terry Sawchuk Bobblehead Night
March 20, 2010 vs. Hamilton Bulldogs – Jonas Gustavsson Bobblehead Night
Fans that purchase tickets to all five bobblehead nights will be entered into a contest to win an exclusive suite night. Tickets for all five games begin at a low price of $79.
The Marlies continue their six game homestand tonight against the Binghamton Senators, AHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators, at Ricoh Coliseum with puck-drop scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
