Jeff Jackson, general manager of the Toronto Marlies, announced today that the club has recalled goaltender Andrew Engelage from their ECHL affiliate, the Reading Royals.
Engelage, 21, made his first career AHL start for the Marlies on October 16 in a 5-2 loss in Rochester against the Americans. In four games with the Reading Royals this season, Engelage has compiled a 3-1-0 record with a 3.44 goals-against average and 0.885 save percentage.
The Marlies look for their fourth straight victory this afternoon when they take on the Houston Aeros, AHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, at 4:00 p.m. at Ricoh Coliseum.
Today’s game will air live on Rogers TV Cable 10 in Toronto and 63 in Scarborough.
