Ottawa SenatorsThe Ottawa Senators <http://senators.nhl.com/> announced today the club has signed defenceman Mike Lundin to a one-year contract. 

Lundin, 27, spent last season with the Minnesota Wild, recording two assists and two penalty minutes in 17 games. Lundin missed the first 23 games of the season with a back injury and final 25 contests with a lower body injury. He also played two games with the American Hockey League’s Houston Aeros. 

Lundin spent the previous four National Hockey League seasons with the Tampa Bay Lightning, recording four goals and 29 assists in 224 games. He played 18 playoff games for the Lightning during the 2010-11 season, recording two assists. 

The 6-2, 191-pound, native of Burnsville, Minn., was selected by Tampa Bay in the fourth round (102nd overall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. Lundin has also represented the United States at the 2010 World Hockey Championship, recording one assist in six games.
