Winnipeg JetsThe Winnipeg Jets announced today they have acquired forward Eric Tangradi from the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for a seventh round draft pick in the 2013 NHL Draft.

Tangradi, 24, has played in five games for the Pittsburgh Penguins so far this season. He started the season with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League where he has played in 34 games for 18 points (10G, 8A) and 57 penalty minutes. The Philadelphia, PA native has played in 45 career NHL games, all with Pittsburgh, for five career points (1G, 4A) and 26 penalty minutes. He also suited up for three NHL playoff games for one assist.

He was originally selected by the Anaheim Ducks in the second round, 42nd overall, in the 2007 NHL Draft.
