James Magnussen will get another chance to make up for the distress of missing out the opportunity on a relay medal by winning gold in the men’s 100m Freestyle at the Aquatics Centre on Day 5 of London 2012.
In Tennis the men's and women's Singles events are routing into the third round. Both top seeds are still in the event, with Roger Federer wil face Denis Istomin, while Victoria Azarenka is set to rally Nadia Petrova. Spain is well-represented on the men's side with three competitors remaining – David Ferrer, Nicolas Almagro and Feliciano Lopez.
In the women's Football the group stages have been completed, now the quarter-final will be played.Great Britain will face Canada and the USA will play New Zealand, whille Sweden v France and Brazil v Japan will complete the matches.
The United States men's Basketball team still remains successful in their mission to defend their Olympic title, regardless of a courageous effort from Tunisia in their match.
