The 2nd match of the day will be played between Pakistan and South Africa, the lowest ranked team in competition. Asian giants the Green Shirts cannot afford a draw or loss against the Africans, and will have to sweat it out against the South African Lads led by Austin SMITH, who played a draw against hosts Great Britain in Pool A game to earn their lone point.
After facing a lone loss against Great Britain, Pakistan will take on South Africa on 5th August. England beat Pakistan by 4-1 in last match. Pakistan Hockey team which shows good performance in last two opening matches of Group A remain unable to stand victorized against Great Britain. And now Pakistan is again ready to play against South Africa at Olympics 2012.
In the last Match of Pool A before GB Vs Pakistan is AUS vs Argentina that shows the result of A draw after both sides hard work. James and Clark makes 1,1 goals and Jaksen makes two goals simultaneously. The first goal of Last Match started with a plenty corner and second goal was the result of other player in first half so far. After Pakistan’s last match against England, it is ranked as 3rd in Point Table according to the points.
Analysts predict this match as a one-sided one as Pakistan team has remarkably drawn one and won one match and had to bear one loss so far. On the other hand, South Africa played 3 Matches of Hockey in Pool A but they fail to produce a single win.
