The U.S. will face Belgium at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, August 10 for an eleventh place finish. Belgium’s results include three loses to the Netherlands, Great Britain and Korea and two draws to China and Japan. The U.S. will look to finish their Olympic campaign on a high note.

U.S. and Belgium both are placed at the last places at their respective Pools. U.S. owns a total of 3 points as a result of a single win and four losses in the group matches. While Belgium has only 2 points on their scoring card. In U.S. last group match against South Africa, they had to face a disastrous defeat with 7-0. With this victory, South African team made sure that they will play for 9th position after entering in the tournament as 12th ranked, while USA will play to avoid wooden spoon.

On the other hand, Belgium played its last group match against Korea that resulted in a loss of team Belgium with 3-1. Korea has finished fourth in Pool A and will play for 7th position.
