England will play against South Africa in the 3rd and the final NatWest International T20 of the Three match series at Edgbaston, Birmingham on 12th September 2012. England is still in the series to make a tie after a washout and then a victory by the tourists. There is still a chance that the scores may have been leveled at 1-1 ahead of this final match today.

The English still seem to be struggling for continuity and solidity within the team and didn’t really look like making a comeback, even in the washed out second T20. Now a win for them can only restore pride, as the Proteas sit 1-0 up in the series with only one match left to be played. They will not drop a series in any format on this tour, which can only constitute a success. Despite the shortened format of the game, the home side looked a stronger unit as a result, with Wright making useful contributions with bat and ball. The probable English line-up include: 1 Craig Kieswetter (wk), 2 Alex Hales, 3 Luke Wright, 4 Eoin Morgan, 5 Jonny Bairstow, 6 Jos Buttler, 7 Samit Patel, 8 Graeme Swann, 9 Stuart Broad (capt), 10 Steven Finn, 11 Jade Dernbach.

South Africa look in balance with the return of Jacques Kallis. Hashim Amla is performing brilliantly and AB de Villiers is one of the best Twenty20 players. Wednesday’s match is the final chance for both teams to fine-tune their performance, line-up and strategies before the start of the World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka next week and so both sides will be eager to come out of this series unharmed. The South African squad to play include: 1 Richard Levi, 2, Hashim Amla, 3 Jacques Kallis, 4 AB de Villiers (capt & wk), 5 JP Duminy, 6 Farhaan Behardien, 7 Albie Morkel, 8 Johan Botha, 9 Robin Peterson, 10 Dale Steyn, 11 Morne Morkel.
