India will face Afghanistan in their ICC World T20 opening clash on Wednesday at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
India will have to quickly decide on their team combination as they launch their ICC World Twenty20 campaign against minnows Afghanistan on Wednesday, hoping to get into the groove for the tougher battles ahead. If Indian team stood victorious, it will ensure a Super Eights berth for champions of the 2007 edition even before they take on England in their second and final group league match on September 23. The probable Indian squad to play include: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (c&wk), Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Rohit Sharma, Irfan Pathan, Ravichandran Ashwin, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Ashok Dinda.
On the other hand, Afghanistan has made an inspirational journey towards an entry into the T20 World Cup 2012. Majority of their players came from refugee camp.
