The 2012 Brazilian Grand Prix, a MotoGP World Championship goes underway this weekend in Sao Paulo, Brazil, scheduled Friday 23 to Sunday 25 November, 2012.
The excited season started in Melbourne, Australia in mid-March and this Sunday, the longest season in the history of the sport will reach its stop at the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace in Interlagos, home of the Brazilian Grand Prix.
It is almost a underline of the F1 season, and the trail at Interlagos itself is one of the best. The 2.6-mile path is one of the oldest in F1, as this track hosted its first world grand prix in 1973. The track is uneven, undulating and tapered, and a total of 71 laps will be taken.
It’s more than 2,800 feet above sea level; as the highest on the F1 calendar. The elevation has an effect on the movements of the cars by tumbling the power from the engines by about seven percent.
Lewis Hamilton was on top of the table on the first day of practice for the season-ending Brazilian Grand Prix on Friday, while Formula One champ Sebastian Vettel was second and title competitor Fernando Alonso was fifth.
The whole tour will run more than three days, Friday was completely belonged to Free Practice sessions, Today also belongs to Free Practice sessions along with qualification trial session while Sunday and final day belongs to the race.
