India will face England in the first T20 clash from the two match series at Pune after playing interesting four match Test series.
England had magnificently won the Test series on Indian home ground after 28 years’ break. They performed remarkably and dominated the home team in the last three Test. They had celebrated their victory and now is the time for them to show the same winning performance entering into the shortest format. England have replaced their brilliant Test skipper Alastair Cook with the hard-hitting middle order batsman Eoin Morgan – who was part of the Test team but did not play a single game. The probable English squad will include: Michael Lumb, Alex Hales (wk), Luke Wright, Joe Root, Jos Buttler, Eoin Morgan (c), Jonny Bairstow, Tim Bresnan, Jade Dernbach, Samit Patel, Stuart Meaker.
India on the other hand is feeling humiliated after losing in their homeland. Their performance was below average in the Test series and they are facing utmost pressure to perform remarkably in the upcoming T20s to cheer the home crowd. India has the advantage of owning a younger squad some of whom were not included in the Test series like show-performer all-rounder Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma and Ambati Rayudu. Every player has the ability to give India the much-needed edge and enthusiasm. The likely Indian lineup will include: Gautam Gambhir, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma,Mahendra Sing Dhoni (c&wk), Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Piyush Chawla, Ashok Dinda.
