After a halt to their unbeaten run, India would look to get over the disappointment of a close defeat when they will face familiar sub-continental foes Sri Lanka in their second match of the tri-nation ODI series in Kingston on Tuesday.

India and Sri Lanka both suffered losses in their opening clashes to the hosts – West Indies. And now the current match is very important for both the sides with having only a few matches left before the final. Both teams struggled with the bat on the bouncy surfaces which is surprising since both teams’ batting is their strength. Murali Vijay is expected to be given a game due to the injury of MS Dhoni and has the opportunity to continue to press for the openers spot. The likely Indian squad will include: 1 Shikhar Dhawan, 2 Rohit Sharma, 3 Virat Kohli (capt), 4 M Vijay, 5 Dinesh Karthik (wk), 6 Suresh Raina, 7 Ravindra Jadeja, 8 R Ashwin, 9 Bhuvneshwar Kumar, 10 Ishant Sharma, 11 Umesh Yadav.

On the other hand, Sri Lanka managed to post a little over 200 and were then left to contend with a raging Chris Gayle, who unleashed his fury in the most devastating manner. Dinesh Chandimal is so important for Sri Lanka batting at 4th spot especially with Dilshan out injured and he is in definite need to score runs. The probable Sri Lankan lineup will include: 1 Mahela Jayawardene, 2 Upul Tharanga, 3 Kumar Sangakkara (wk), 4 Dinesh Chandimal, 5 Angelo Mathews (capt), 6 Lahiru Thirimanne, 7 & 8 two of Ajantha Mendis/Sachithra Senanayake/Jeevan Mendis, 9 Nuwan Kulasekara, 10 Rangana Herath, 11 Lasith Malinga.
