Pakistan will take on West Indies in 1st of the five ODI match series at Providence Stadium in Guyana on Sunday.

The hosts are entering the series after a disappointing back end to the Tri-series against Sri Lanka and India. Marlon Samuels had a poor tournament against India and Sri Lanka and in definite need to find some form as he is one of the significant parts of the batting order. The likely West Indian squad will include: 1 Chris Gayle, 2 Johnson Charles (wk), 3 Darren Bravo, 4 Lendl Simmons, 5 Marlon Samuels, 6 Dwayne Bravo (capt), 7 Kieron Pollard, 8 Darren Sammy, 9 Kemar Roach, 10 Sunil Narine, 11 Tino Best.

Pakistan also have had performed poorly recently in ODI cricket after underperforming in England for the Champions Trophy. The big news from the Pakistan camp is that Shahid Afridi is now back and he is going to play a crucial part as he is not only playing for Pakistan but perhaps for his own career. The probable Pakistani lineup will include: 1 Nasir Jamshed, 2 Ahmed Shehzad, 3 Mohammad Hafeez, 4 Misbah-ul-Haq (capt), 5 Umar Amin, 6 Umar Akmal (wk), 7 Shahid Afridi, 8 Wahab Riaz, 9 Junaid Khan, 10 Saeed Ajmal, 11 Mohammad Irfan.
