Pakistan and Zimbabwe will play against each other in the opening test at Harare on Tuesday.
After managing to be successful in the ODI series with 2-1 against the hosts, Pakistan is now looking to achieve a clean sweep over Zimbabwe in the Test series. Mohammad Hafeez had an excellent ODI series to show his amazing form and will be looking to continue the same in the Test series as well. The likely Pakistani lineup will include: 1 Mohammad Hafeez, 2 Khurram Manzoor, 3 Azhar Ali, 4 Younis Khan, 5 Misbah-ul-Haq (capt), 6 Asad Shafiq, 7 Adnan Akmal (wk), 8 Wahab Riaz, 9 Saeed Ajmal, 10 Junaid Khan, 11 Abdur Rehman.
Zimbabwe have always struggled in the Test format due to their lack of matches but it isn’t Pakistan’s best format either. Zimbabwe are going to have to do very well with the ball if they are to compete with Pakistan over this Test series and it’s going to have to be Brian Vitori. The probable Zimbabwean squad will include: 1 Vusi Sibanda, 2 Tino Mawoyo, 3 Hamilton Masakadza, 4 Brendan Taylor (capt), 5 Malcolm Waller, 6 Elton Chigumbura, 7 Richmond Mutumbami (wk), 8 Prosper Utseya, 9 Brian Vitori, 10 Shingi Masakadza, 11 Tendai Chatara.
