After registering a victory in their opening match, Rajasthan Royals will now face Highveld Lions in their second group match in Jaipur on Wednesday.
The Rajasthan Royals are the only team to have won a match in their group which is due to the constant rain in India which led to abandoning of rest of the group matches. The main strength of Royals is their batting which may bring them the opportunity to win a second straight game. The likely RR squad will include: Rahul Dravid (Capt.), Ajinkya Rahane, Stuart Binny, Sanju Samson, Ashok Menaria, Dishant Yagnik, Vikramjeet Malik, Rahul Shukla, Pravin Tambe, Siddharth Trivedi, Shane Watson, Brad Hodge, James Faulkner, Kevon Cooper, Shaun Tait.
The Lions got as far as the toss in their fixture against the Perth Scorchers until rain started pouring down. Sanju Samsons continued from where he left off in their last match as he continues to impress in the Royals outfit having had a breakthrough IPL season this year. Due to Rajasthan’s strengthened batting lineup, the Lions will be requiring Lonwabo Tsotsobe to have a big game to minimise the impact of their stars.
