After choking badly in the opening ODI, Pakistan will play against the enthusiastic South Africa in the 2nd ODI clash in Dubai on Friday.
Despite the runs flowing like a river in India, the 1st ODI with Pakistan and South Africa provided a much different type of entertaining match with the low scoring affair. Pakistan will be bitterly disappointed they couldn’t get the expected result in a match that was clearly in their hands before their last 6 wickets fell in a collapse. Nasir Jamshed disappointed with his contribution in the first One Day match and would be hoping set the record straight with some nice big innings in Dubai. The likely Pakistani lineup will include: Nasir Jamshed, Ahmed Shehzad, Mohammad Hafeez, Misbah-ul-Haq (capt), Umar Akmal (wk), Asad Shafiq, Shahid Afridi, Saeed Ajmal, Sohail Tanvir, Junaid Khan, Mohammad Irfan.
On the other hand, after achieving an unlikely victory in previous ODI, AB de Villiers is targeting a more one-sided 2nd ODI. Graeme Smith made his long awaited return to International cricket and looked good until he was dismissed but will be looking to counteract the Pakistan bowlers in upcoming games. The probable South African squad will include: Colin Ingram, Graeme Smith, JP Duminy, AB de Villiers (capt), Faf du Plessis, David Miller, Wayne Parnell, Ryan McLaren, Robin Peterson, Morne Morkel, Lonwabo Tsotsobe.
