After an interesting opening ODI, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are set to entertain the audience once again as they meet in the 2nd ODI match at Dubai on Friday.
The opening ODI proved very entertaining dominated majorly by the batsmen and it was Pakistan team that won by 11 runs. Both teams will be happy with their batting performance but know there is plenty of improvement required from their bowlers and fieldsmen. Mohammad Hafeez also remain successful in breaking the spell after having a lean batting form over the last few months and would be looking to continue his good form. The likely Pakistani squad will include: 1 Ahmed Shehzad, 2 Sharjeel Khan, 3 Mohammad Hafeez, 4 Sohaib Maqsood, 5 Misbah ul Haq (capt), 6 Umar Akmal, 7 Shahid Afridi, 8 Bilawal Bhatti, 9 Sohail Tanvir, 10 Saeed Ajmal, 11 Junaid Khan.
Sri Lanka also performed well in the opening ODI but the middle order batting collapse costed them the whole match. They did expect wickets from their star bowler Lasith Malinga and he failed to deliver in the opening game but now he is required to deliver well or else Pakistan could go 2-0 up. The likely Sri Kankan lineup will include: 1 Tillakaratne Dilshan, 2 Kusal Perera 3 Kumar Sangakkara (wk), 4 Dinesh Chandimal, 5 Angelo Mathews (capt), 6 Lahiru Thirimanne, 7 Thisara Perera 8 Seekkuge Prasanna, 9 Nuwan Kulasekara/Suranga Lakmal, 10 Sachithra Senanayake, 11 Lasith Malinga.
