After an entertaining and full of excitement opening ODI, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will play the second match at Dhaka on Thursday.

Bangladesh have come across several opportunities to punish the Sri Lankan team over this tour but have failed to achieve any which allows the visitors to clean sweep the tour if they win just one more ODI. The opening ODI contained all the aspects of a perfect dramatic turns at several points that ended in hosts’ lost even after dominating most of the sessions. Mahmudullah is fighting for his spot in this Bangladesh side at the moment after a long form slump has affected his game. The likely Bangladeshi lineup will include: 1 Tamim Iqbal, 2 Shamsur Rahman, 3 Anamul Haque (wk)/Naeem Islam, 4 Mominul Haque, 5 Mushfiqur Rahim (capt), 6 Shakib Al Hasan, 7 Nasir Hossain, 8 Sohag Gazi, 9 Arafat Sunny, 10 Al-Amin Hossain/Mashrafe Mortaza, 11 Rubel Hossain.

The Sri Lankan batting order fell apart to the extent where they were 8 for 67 at one stage until the all-rounder Thisara Perera came to the rescue and ensured Sri Lanka reached a decent total. Sri Lanka require their limited overs squad to be in good form with the Twenty20 World Cup just around the corner and it is perfect preparation with the series being in Bangladesh. The probable Sri Lankan squad will include: 1 Kusal Perera, 2 Tillakaratne Dilshan, 3 Kumar Sangakkara (wk), 4 Dinesh Chandimal, 5 Ashan Priyanjan, 6 Kithuruwan Vithanage, 7 Angelo Mathews (capt), 8 Thisara Perera, 9 Nuwan Kulasekara, 10 Sachithra Senanayake, 11 Lasith Malinga.
