After winning their opening games in the Asia Cup 2014, both India and Sri Lanka will face each other at Fatullah on Friday.
India began their Asia Cup campaign by achieving a six-wicket win against hosts Bangladesh on Wednesday. During the chase of a total of 279 runs, the new captain Virat Kohli (136) combined with Ajinkya Rahane (73) put up a partnership of 213 runs for the third wicket which led them to the victory. Indian batsmen are in form but their bowling department is weaker than the opponents. The likely Indian line-up will include: Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli (c), Ambati Rayudu, Ajinkya Rahane, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, Varun Aaron.
On the other hand, Sri Lanka were also successful in their opening game of the tournament as they were fortunate enough to grab a close victory against Pakistan by just 12 runs. Lasith Malinga was the key Sri Lankan bowler in that match as he successfully collected 5-52 including some crucial wickets. The probable Sri Lankan squad will include: Kusal Perera, Lahiru Thirimanne, Mahela Jayawardene, Kumar Sangakkara (wk), Dinesh Chandimal, Angelo Mathews (c), Thisara Perera, Chaturanga de Silva, Sachithra Senanayake, Suranga Lakmal, Lasith Malinga.
