Sri Lanka and West Indies will take on each other in a practice match once again in a warm up match before the Super 10 stage at Mirpur on Wednesday.

Sri Lanka have won its opening warm up match against India on Monday with 5runs in a very close contest. They are in good form having cruised to victory in the recent Asia Cup. Ahead of the fifth edition of World T20, Sri Lanka are now determined to win the title for the first time in their history, having reached the final on two previous occasions. They were defeated at the final hurdle in both 2009 by Pakistan and again in 2012 by West Indies. Lasith Malinga also has more wickets in the World T20 then any other bowler with 33 and they will enter the competition among one of the favourites. The Sri Lankan squad will include: Darren Sammy (capt), Chris Gayle, Dwayne Smith, Johnson Charles, Marlon Samuels, Lendl Simmons, Dwayne Bravo, Denesh Ramdin, Andre Fletcher, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Samuel Badree, Krishmar Santokie, Sheldon Cottrell, Ravi Rampaul.

On the other hand, West Indians defeated England in their last T20 series. However the sub-continental conditions are relatively different as compared to their home. They had cruised past England on Tuesday in opening warm up match with 7 wickets chasing down a score of 132 runs with still 23 balls to spare. They are under immense pressure to defend their title and look to keep their winning momentum before entering the tournament. The likely West Indian line-up will include: Dinesh Chandimal (capt), Tillakaratne Dilshan, Kusal Perera, Lahiru Thirimanne, Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardene, Angelo Mathews, Thisara Perera, Seekkuge Prasanna, Sachitra Senanayake, Ajantha Mendis, Rangana Herath, Lasith Malinga, Nuwan Kulasekara, Suranga Lakmal.
