Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Daredevils will face each other in the 12th match of IPL 2014 at Dubai (DSC) on Friday.
Hyderabad have so far failed to grab a single victory from their two outings in the tournament due to problems with both batting and bowling fronts. The batsmen have failed to get enough runs, managing only 133 and 121. In fact, against Kings XI Punjab, it was all-round failure as the bowlers too leaked plenty of runs to make them reach 193 runs. The probable SRH squad will include: Aaron Finch, Shikhar Dhawan (c), David Warner, Lokesh Rahul (wk), Venugopal Rao, Irfan Pathan, Darren Sammy, Karn Sharma, Dale Steyn, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ishant Sharma.
On the other hands, Delhi are also suffering from problems of their own; they managed to get a single victory from three outings – that win too coming in a nervy run-chase against the Kolkata Knight Riders. The team comes into this match after a disastrous outing against the Chennai Super Kings, when they were dismissed for mere 84 runs – their third-lowest score in the IPL. Kevin Pietersen is likely to make a comeback in the first match as a skipper this season and his presence will certainly strengthen his side due to the plenty of experience he possess in playing the tournament. The likely DD line-up will include: Murali Vijay, Mayank Agarwal, Kevin Pietersen (c), Dinesh Karthik (wk), Ross Taylor, JP Duminy, Jimmy Neesham, Shahbaz Nadeem, Rahul Sharma, Mohammed Shami, Jaydev Unadkat.
