After winning the opening ODI with a huge margin, Sri Lanka will take on Ireland in the second ODI match at Clontarf Cricket Club Ground, Dublin on Thursday.

Ireland lost their opening clash as William Porterfield’s men became all out for 140 in their chase of Sri Lanka’s modest total of 219-8. And it was their lowest ever one-day international total at the ground. Now in order to level the series, they need to win this match as a unit. The likely Irish line-up will include: William Porterfield (c), Alex Cusack, George Dockrell, Ed Joyce, Andy McBrine, Tim Murtagh, Kevin O’Brien, Niall O’Brien, AndrewPoynter, Max Sorensen, Paul Stirling, Stuart Thompson, Gary Wilson (wk)

On the other hands, Sri Lanka look solid even after posting not a very good total against the Irish veteran seamers. Still Nuwan Kulasekara and Ajantha Mendis managed to finish the Sri Lankan innings with a flurry to push the visitors’ total beyond 200. And in their bowling turn, the tourists’ spinning duo of Mendis and Sachithra Senanayake caused an array of problems for the hosts, while Suranga Lakmal and Kulasekara enjoyed the seam-friendly conditions that were available with the new ball. They will now look to grab the opportunity by whitewashing the ODI series with another victory in the second game as well. The probable Sri Lankan squad will include: Angelo Mathews (c), Lahiru Thirimanne (vc), Dinesh Chandimal(wk), Chaturanga de Silva, Niroshan Dickwella, ShamindaEranga, Nuwan Kulasekara, Suranga Lakmal, Ajantha Mendis, KusalPerera (wk), Dhammika Prasad, Ashan Priyanjan, SachithraSenanayake, Upul Tharanga, Kithuruwan Vithanage
