Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings will face each other in the 53rd match of IPL 2014 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Saturday.
Bangalore have been eliminated from advancing in the tournament with only five wins from 13 outings so far. In their most recent match against the Kolkata Knight Riders, the bowling attack had to suffer some severe punishment and leaked 195 runs, which were 30 too many for the RCB batsmen to chase down. It’s the last match for them in the 7th edition of IPL and they will aim to win it to finish the tournament on a positive note. The likely RCB line-up will include: Virat Kohli (captain), Yogesh Takawale, AB de Villiers, Yuvraj Singh, Sachin Rana, Mitchell Starc, Yuzvendra Chahal, Rampaul, Vijay Zol, Shadab Jakati, Rilee Rossouw.
On the other hands, despite qualifying for the Playoffs, Chennai have missed their consistency by facing three consecutive losses. They’ve been defeated by Royal Challengers Bangalore, Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad in their last three outings. In their most recent match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, they posted 185 runs on the board, before they were blown away by David Warner and co. The probable CSK squad will include: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain), Dwayne Smith, Suresh Raina, David Hussey, Ravindra Jadeja, Mithun Manhas, Ravichandran Ashwin, Mohit Sharma, Samuel Badree, Faf du Plessis, Ashish Nehra.
