On the opening day of second and final test match, Pakistan seam bowlers Junaid Khan and Wahab Riaz shared seven wickets as Pakistan came back strong on Thursday, holding Sri Lanka to 261 for 8 by the close of day.
Khan returned with best figures of 4/69 and Wahab Riaz supported him well with 3/66.
Opener Upul Tharanga was dismissed by Riaz just eight runs short of his second Test century after adding the price wicket of in-form Kumar Sangakkara (22), who had made a double century in the first innings of the first Test.
