After winning the opening ODI match, Pakistan will look to seal the series by attaining another victory against Sri Lanka when they will face each other in the second ODI game at Hambantota on Tuesday.

Pakistan narrowly won the 1st ODI with one ball remaining after the calculations for duckworth-lewis were adjusted to the totals. It was the Pakistan middle order which was the difference and Fawad Alam continues his fantastic form in limited overs cricket for Pakistan and it is about time he nails down a spot in the national team. Sohaib Maqsood also performed amazingly as he remained unbeaten at 89 when he along with Alam delivered an unexpected winning partnership. The team will play the second game in absence of Saeed Ajmal and Younis Khan. They will look to continue their winning form to compensate their loss of test series. The likely Pakistani line-up will include: 1 Sharjeel Khan, 2 Ahmed Shehzad, 3 Mohammad Hafeez, 4 Umar Akmal (wk), 5 Misbah-ul-Haq (capt), 6 Fawad Alam, 7 Sohaib Maqsood, 8 Shahid Afridi, 9 Wahab Riaz, 10 Junaid Khan, 11 Mohammad Irfan.

On the other hands, Sri Lanka had lost the opening game at a stage when they were likely to win it with a remarkable margin. However, they were unfortunate not to bank on the three chances to get rid of Maqsood at different intervals. They would also be very disappointed with the performance of their star bowler Lasith Malinga who didn’t pick up an early wicket or keep his economy rate. The probable Sri Lankan squad will include: 1 Upul Tharanga, 2 Tillakaratne Dilshan, 3 Kumar Sangakkara (wk), 4 Mahela Jayawardene, 5 Lahiru Thirimanne/Dinesh Chandimal, 6 Angelo Mathews (capt), 7 Ashan Priyanjan, 8 Thisara Perera, 9 Rangana Herath, 10 Nuwan Kulasekara 11 Lasith Malinga.
