Still leading the series with 1-0, Pakistan would look to emerge as true winners when they will face New Zealand in the third and final test match at Sharjah on Wednesday.

Even after winning the toss and posting 403 runs as the first innings score, New Zealand remained unable to take a remarkable lead over the hosts and the match ended in a draw. However, they have shown their ability to learn quickly and bounce back in the series. Kiwis do prove tough competitors of the game and they will make any strong effort to level the series. To serve the purpose, Brendon McCullum reiterated that the inclusion of Vettori in place of Jimmy Neesham was a one-off move and added that the team wanted to make it special for Vettori as it could be the spinners’ last Test. The Kiwi line-up will include: 1. Tom Latham, 2 Brendon McCullum (capt), 3 Kane Williamson, 4 Ross Taylor, 5 Corey Anderson, 6 BJ Watling (wk), 7 Daniel Vettori, 8 Mark Craig, 9 Ish Sodhi, 10 Tim Southee 11 Trent Boult.

On the other hands, even though Pakistan cannot lose the series, still they are eager to win it convincingly with 2-0. Their weakest link is their poor fielding that led them to a draw otherwise they had continued their winning run. They need to overcome their weakness to remain undefeated in this game. The likely Pakistani squad will include: 1 Shan Masood, 2 Mohammad Hafeez, 3 Azhar Ali, 4 Younis Khan, 5 Misbah-ul-Haq (capt), 6 Asad Shafiq, 7 Sarfraz Ahmed (wk), 8 Yasir Shah, 9 Mohammad Talha, 10 Zulfiqar Babar, 11 Rahat Ali.
