Toronto FCToronto FC announced the first leg of the team’s CONCACAF Champions League Semi-Final series versus Santos Laguna of Mexico will take place Wednesday, March 28 at BMO Field at 8 p.m. Santos Laguna will host the second leg of the series April 4. 

Toronto FC became the first Canadian team to reach the Semi-Finals and earned the right to face Santos Laguna following its 4-3 aggregate CONCACAF Quarter-Final victory over the reigning MLS Champions, LA Galaxy. The winner of the two-game Semi-Final aggregate series will advance to the 2012 CONCACAF Champions League Finals which will be held in April. 

Toronto FC will open its sixth season on the road, Saturday, March 17 as they face the Seattle Sounders. The Reds’ home opener is Saturday, March 24 as they host the San Jose Earthquakes in a 1 p.m. start.
