The Little Guy is in the Big Game

During Sunday’s Super Bowl, new wireless entrant Public Mobile launched a series of three TV commercials that tackle the offensive issue of high roaming rates. When it comes to the Super Bowl, it’s rare to see the little guy get in the game since it’s traditionally an advertising playing field dominated by large companies with commercials for soft drinks, cars and beer. But Public Mobile is definitely playing in the big leagues. While the Patriots and Giants fought it out on the field, Public Mobile showed people how to fight ‘Roam Rage’.

Sunday’s game was focused on commanding respect on the field, just as Public Mobile desires to bring respect to all Canadians. “And by that we mean value and fairness and all the other stuff customers aren’t used to hearing about,” said Alek Krstajic, CEO of Public Mobile. “We offer Canada’s lowest price for freedom,” continued Krstajic. “Roaming costs just 15-cents whether you are in Canada or the United States.
