To bring attention to the issue of homelessness on National Housing Day, Raising the Roof is hosting a screening of US&THEM.
The Film
Filmed over a decade, US&THEM is a deeply visceral film about transformation through the human connection.
After befriending 4 individuals experiencing homelessness, filmmaker Krista Loughton embarks on a journey to better understand the issue and help her friends. In sharing their own stories, each individual displays an extraordinary empathy and wisdom no one could have anticipated. We come to understand there is no difference between Us and Them.

The Event
A screening of US&THEM for National Housing Day.
WHEN: November 22, 2016 at 7:00pm
WHERE: The Revue Cinema, 400 Roncesvalles Avenue
WHO: Filmmaker Krista Loughton wil join the event for an introduction to the film and a Q&A session
All proceeds from the event will support Raising the Roof’s mission to prevent and end homelessness with long-term solutions.
