The Standing Rock Sioux Nation has issued a global call to action amid brave Land and Water Protectors facing brutal and outrageous treatment for prayerfully protecting life.
On November 5th, join us as we march peacefully following the example of the protectors. We will march from beginning at Queens Park and along the way we’ll be making an announcement at TD, RBC and Scotia banks which are funding the pipeline and then head to the US Consulate.
Please bring signs, drums, noisemakers, banners and your peaceful active spirits.
Let us stand in solidarity at this historic time and remind corporations and the US government that the world is watching.
A fundraising effort and supply collection for the frontlines will also take place. Kindly bring what you can from the list below:
*Visa Cards and Lowes Gift Cards
*Gas cards (for getting to Standing Rock)
*Flashlights / Headlamps / Lanterns
*Laundry Soap
*Toiletries
*Walkie Talkies (long range) / CB Radios
*Ropes/Tie Downs
Our movement is endorsed by Occupy Canada, Idle No More Toronto, No One is Ilegal, CUPE 3903 and UofT, Hamilton 350, The Anonymous network of Toronto, York and various others!
