Join us for a fun evening of music, cocktails and tastes from Southeast Asia! During this night out you and your guests will experience street foods from one of the most backpacked quarters of the world without leaving your city! This interactive class will give you the chance to enjoy some delicious foods, as well as learn and prepare some bite size appetizers yourself. Tonight’s class will also offer some cocktails, wine & beer tasting, raffle prizes, as well as some live entertainment.
All proceeds will go towards Cuso International’s project in Myanmar. This mission was established to create a small cooking school and restaurant to help employ local women. Amongst that, this project will educate individuals on how to open up cooking schools across the country to help provide employment opportunities for young women. Lastly, this project will also help fund the Mon Women’s Organization- a local woman’s rights NGO that impacts and empowers work throughout Myanmar.
Myanmar is one of the most struggling countries in Southeast Asia that is in need of much economic development. Cuso intends to focus on this development within the tourism sector- through the capacity of women!
One of our lead instructors at the PC Cooking School, Mikaila Ross, will be making her way to Myanmar in the New Year to help execute this project. Your attendance to this event, as well as your support towards this phenomenal project will help make her journey. From our cooking school to theirs, please come and support this project and the positive impact it is going to make!
