L.A. Theatre Works presents Tony-winning playwright’s Richard Greenberg’s The Assembled Parties. The play stars Golden Globe-nominated and Emmy winner Dany Delany (Desperate Housewives, Hand of God) and Castle’s Susan Sullivan as sisters-in-law sharing a traditional holiday dinner with their families in the Upper West Side of the early ’80s. A new houseguest has joined the Bascovs for dinner and his actions fling him into the family’s drama, unwittingly or perhaps intentionally. The events of that night have repercussions that span the next 20 years, leaving the Bascovs on the verge of collapse as a new millenium begins. Recorded live for later broadcast on satellite and public radio stations worldwide, this set and costume-less play also stars Criminal Minds’ Wilson Bethel and General Hospital’s Seamus Dever at The James Bridge Theater.
