Center Stage Opera presents Puccini’s story of love and loss in 19th-century Paris in concert at the Madrid Theatre. Set in a bohemian apartment in Paris’s Latin Quarter, the poet Rodolfo and the painter Marcello are drawn into a tangle of love and jealousy after the frail Mimi, seeking help, knocks on their door on Christmas Eve. Maestro Brian Brian Onderdonk and the Center Stage Opera Orchestra accompany an outstanding cast in this concert spectacular, performed in Italian with supertitles projected above the stage.
