Attic Theatre has "only just begun" its parody of Judy Blume’s popular 70s coming of age novel Are You There, God? It’s Me Margaret. In Are You There, God? It’s Me Karen Carpenter, conceived, written and directed by Dane Whitlock, follow young Margaret as she moves to New Jersey, falls in love with the boy next door, obsesses about feminine hygiene and finally becomes a woman.
