The Queen Mary is throwing a good old Irish shindig for St. Patrick’s Day with plenty of non-stop party music from a trio of Southern California’s best bands. Sligo Rags specializes in Celtic rock, plus jigs and reels, with bluegrass-style flat-picking and a wee bit of jazz thrown into the mix. The six-member ensemble known as Oxalis, featuring singer Swan Montgomery, lays down a blend of contemporary and traditional Irish music, and the Hollywood Stones pay tribute to Mick, Keith and the boys with live renditions of their greatest hits.
