A fast-paced, back-and-forth comedy with a few twists up its sleeve, Jacob and Jack is a dizzying deconstruction of life in the world of theater. The play revolves around Jack Shore, a well-known TV personality appearing in a one-night tribute production to his grandfather, Jacob Shemerinksy, a legendary performer in the Yiddish theatre. Backstage, however, Jack begins to confront his challenges and flaws as an actor and husband with his co-star, also his wife.
