Members of the Toronto community are invited to a free screening of "Education Under Fire", a powerful documentary produced by Amnesty International about the growth, struggle, and inspiring spirit of The Baha’ Institute for Higher Education. BIHE was founded in 1987 in Iran, as a response to the discriminatory practices by Iran’s government against the Baha’ community. Baha’s in Iran are denied access to higher education due to their religious beliefs. The screening is followed by a panel discussion, featuring the Director of External Affairs of the Baha’i Community of Canada, as well as a member of the BIHE.
