The Acting Company presents the shortest and most farcical of Shakespeare’s comedies. The Comedy of Errors takes twin masters each named Antipholus, their twin servants both inconveniently named Dromio, and puts them together in the same city for the first time, setting off a chain of mistaken identity mishaps. The Acting Company was founded in 1972 by the legendary John Houseman and since its inception has won multiple Obie, Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle and Audelco awards, and is a Tony honoree for excellence in theater as the company tours the country promoting theater and literacy.
