Parson’s Nose Presents Chekov Farces in Pasadena

Parson’s Nose Productions, the professional theater company introducing classical theater to the San Gabriel Valley, will present two short farces from theater great Anton Chekhov. The Boor and The Marriage Proposal will close out their 2011-12 season. This set of plays evolved from the Parson’s Nose "Reader’s Theater" series to become a full production. These short farces represent some of Chekhov’s earlier works and showcase his brilliance with comedy. Director Lance Davis compares the farcical elements to Fawlty Towers, with outrageous characters played by the talented ensemble cast in an intimate theater. Learn more…
