Canada Day Celebrations at Mel Lastman Square Come celebrate Canada’s 145th birthday at the Canada Day celebration at Mel Lastman Square on Sunday, July 1, 2012. Enjoy free live musical performances and a spectacular fireworks display to end the evening with a bang. Timothy’s World Coffee Pre-Show: 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Activities include musical and dance performances and children’s activities. Live Performances: 8 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. Watch the live performances of rock soul songstress Saidah Baba Talibah and the classic rock, reggae and pop influenced sounds of The Slakadeliqs with Justin Nozuka.
