Based on short stories by Damon Runyon, this Tony Award-winning classic presented by Encore Entertainers follows the romantic and shady exploits of New York gamblers Sky Masterson, Nathan Detroit, and the women who love them: Adelaide, who has been waiting for a marriage proposal for over a decade and Sarah, an uptight missionary out to save Sky’s soul. The well-known score by Frank Loesser features such standards as “Luck Be a Lady,” “If I Were a Bell,” “I’ve Never Been in Love Before” and “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat.” A cast of talented performers ages 13 to 21 years old perform this Broadway classic.
